To Provide the Quality education to provincialised Madrassa institutions of Assam , the govt. of Assam Has fixed a minimum standard of qualification for
teachers' Eligibility for the Madrassa Institution Under the directorate of Madrassa Education in Accordance with NCTE regulations.
Thus to fulfill above requirements a Teachers Eligibility Test Will be Held on Month Of November 2014, by the govt. of assam, Secondary Education Department to select the Quality teachers.

Eligibility Criteria for different post to appear TET examination:
1) Lecturer : M.M with minimum 60% marks from State Madrassa Education Board, Assam.
2) M.M Assistant Teacher: M.M with 55% marks from State Madrassa Education Board, Assam.
3) F.M Assistant Teacher (Senior Section): F.M from the State Madrassa Education Board, Assam OR “Maulvi Fazil” from Al-Jamiatul Arabiatul Islamia, Badarpur(Karimganj) OR equivalent certificate obtained from State Madrassa Education Board, Assam with 45% marks.
4) F.M Assistant Teacher (Pre Senior Section): F.M from the State Madrassa Education Board, Assam OR “Maulvi Fazil” from Al-Jamiatul Arabiatul Islamia, Badarpur(Karimganj) OR equivalent certificate obtained from State Madrassa Education Board, Assam with 45% marks.
5) Assistant Teacher, B.A.: B.A. with 45% marks from any recognized University.

6) Assistant Teacher, B.Sc: B.Sc (Bio/Royal) with 45% marks from any recognized University.
7) Assistant Teacher, Hindi: Probin/Ratna with Higher Secondary (HS) obtaining minimum 45% marks or BA with Hindi with 45% marks.
8) Assistant Teacher, (ALT) Assamese Language Teacher: B.A. with 45% marks and having Assamese subject as MIL in HSLC/AHM OR any equivalent Degree with 45% marks
8) Assistant Teacher, (ALT) Assamese Language Teacher: B.A. with 45% marks and having Assamese subject as MIL in HSLC/AHM OR any equivalent Degree with 45% marks
9) Assistant Teacher, H.S. (Pre-Senior Section): Higher Secondary (HS) with 45% marks.
NOTE: Preference will be given to the candidates who have passed HSLC/AHM examination with Arabic as one of the subject.
Who Can Apply:A. The Candidate must be Citizen of India.
B. He/she must have the requisite educational qualification as prescribed above.
C. Age of the candidate should not be above 38 years as on 01.01.2014.

> For the post of Lecturer and M.M(Assistant teacher) : A single question paper of 100 marks. The qualified candidates who have 60% marks or above in academic degree will apply for the post of Lecturer and those who have 55% marks or above will apply for the post of M.M.(Assistant teacher).
>For the post of F.M Assistant Teacher(senior section ) and F.M Assistant Teacher (pre senior section) : A single question paper of 100 marks. A candidate may give preference of posts in the application form
> For the posts of Assistant Teacher (B.A) and Assistant Teacher (B.Sc): A single question paper of 100 marks.
> For the posts of Assistant Teacher (Hindi) and Assistant Teacher (Alt. Assamese), there will be a single question paper of 100 marks, with an option between Hindi Literature and Assamese Literature.
> For the post of Assistant Teacher H.S. (Pre Senior Section) the Question Paper will be of 50 marks.
Application Fee: 400/- Payable at any SBI Branch with System generated SBI challan.
Application Process : Interested Candidate Can apply for tet online application through Online portal on available on www.rmsassam.in . Online Portal for application will be start from 22nd September to 22nd October. After Fulfillment of online application form Candidate are required to Upload Scanned Signature and passport photograph.
Then Summit the application form and take printout of online SBI bank challan generated by the system and pay the fee 400/- in the nearest SBI Branch from the second working day onward from the day of submission of the form(i.e. After 48 hr. of form submission)
